Summer is winding down. Kids are heading back to school, schedules are shifting, and if you're anything like the women who walk into my office, your body has been keeping score of all of it — even if your mind hasn't caught up yet.
Your gut isn't just along for the ride. It's actually listening.
Your gut and your nervous system are having a conversation
Most people think of digestion as separate from stress, from emotion, from everything else going on in life. It's not. Your gut has its own nervous system — the enteric nervous system — and it's in constant communication with your brain through what's called the gut-brain axis. When life gets loud (a busy summer, a hard conversation, a deadline, grief, change of any kind), your gut often feels it first. Bloating, tightness, that "off" feeling that conventional medicine can't quite name — a lot of the time, that's your nervous system trying to tell you something.
This is why I don't treat the gut in isolation. I treat the whole system.
What we actually do together
I offer two core treatments, and they work together: Colonics and Lymphatic Drainage. Colonics support your body's natural detox process and give your digestive system the reset it's been asking for. Lymphatic Drainage moves stagnant fluid, eases inflammation, and helps your body let go of what it's been holding onto — physically and otherwise.
No two sessions look the same. Each one is built around what's actually going on with you that day, not a one-size-fits-all protocol. Most clients start feeling real relief within three sessions. That's not a sales pitch — it's just what I've watched happen, over and over, for three decades.
Why I do it this way
I bring my Master's in Spiritual Psychology into this work because gut health was never just physical to me. If we only address symptoms and skip the root cause — the stress, the stored tension, the stuff you haven't had space to process — relief doesn't stick. So yes, we'll talk about your bowels. We'll also talk about what's actually going on in your life, if you want to. Both matter.
An invitation, not a push
You don't need to have it all figured out before you book a session. You just need to be curious about why your body feels the way it does. I've spent 30 years in this practice because I believe in what happens when someone finally feels heard by their own body again.
As summer closes out and things start ramping back up, this might be a good moment to give your gut — and your nervous system — a little attention before the fall rush hits.
I'm here six days a week, ready when you are.
